Practicing Addition Facts and other Arithmetic Functions

There is a new game on The Problem Site. Before you get too excited, let me warn you - this game is not like anything else on the site. This game relies on both thinking and reflexes.

The game is: Adders!.

The purpose of this game is to help students review basic arithmetic facts - addition facts, subtraction facts, multiplication facts, and division facts. I realize that in many schools there is far less emphasis placed on knowing these facts, so teachers may choose to use this game as a "treat" instead of as part of the classroom exercises.

Children will enjoy the colorful snake who travels around the game board chomping up answers to math problems. Students will be able to choose between the four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Also, students will be able to choose a game speed, ranging from "Turtle's Pace" to "Ludicrous Speed".
