Quad Puzzle
Quad Puzzle is a puzzle game in which the player must fit together puzzle
pieces which contain parts of colored shapes.
|
Object of the GameTo completely fill the 4x4 playing grid in such a way that
the colors and shapes along the edges of the puzzle pieces match the colors and shapes
on adjacent puzzle pieces.
Game Instructions
The puzzle pieces must be assembled from the lower grid to the upper grid, by clicking on puzzle pieces in
the lower grid. To move a piece from the lower grid to the upper grid, click in the upper grid
where you want the piece to go. This will turn the square yellow, indicating that it is highlighted. When
you click a piece in the lower grid, it will move to this square.
If you make a mistake, and would like to move a piece from the upper grid back to the lower grid, simply click on it. The piece
will be removed from the upper grid, and the clicked square will become highlighted.
Your job is to place the tiles into the 4x4 grid in such a way that the edges
of the tiles match. In other words, if a tile has half of a red circle on its
top edge, the tile directly above it has to have the other half of a red circle
on its bottom edge.
Also, the 4x4 grid "wraps" - the top edge of tiles on
the upper row of the grid have to match the bottom edge of tiles on the lower
row. Likewise, the left edge of tiles in the first column have to match the
right edge of tiles in the last column. You might think that will make the
puzzle more difficult, but in reality it makes it easier, because you don't have
to worry about where you place the first piece...it can go wherever you
like!
When you have completed the puzzle, a message window will appear, telling you that
the puzzle is complete. Then you can click the start a new puzzle link,
or click here to choose a different game.
