The Problem Site: Junior Edition
The Problem Site: Junior Edition
During the years that The Problem Site has been online, its games, puzzles, and problems have been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of children and adults. Over the
years, one of the most common comments received about the site has been: "There aren't any games for really young children."
I have always responded by saying: "The site was not designed for young elementary students or preschool children."
That is about to change. Over the course of the next few months, a series of educational games will be built specifically for young elementary students, preschoolers, kindergarten students, and other
young children. These games will be bright and colorful, exciting, and fun to play. They will address problem solving skills at a level young children can appreciate and learn from.
For each game, Professor Puzzler will provide explanation, encouragement, advice, and positive feedback.
For parents, there will be an essay at the bottom of the page (similar to this one) explaining how the game is played, and what the value of the game is
for your child.
Three games are available now: Colors, Shapes & Sizes, Guess It! and Spell It! Other games will appear on the site later on during 2008 - probably toward
the end of August, just in time for the new school year. If you would like to have an email notification when Professor Puzzler posts more games, send an email to dtwitchell@virtu-software.com.
Do you have suggestions for games to be added? Send an email and let us know!
Thank you for your continued use and support of The Problem Site.
