Problem Solution

This little problem is (as I warned in the title) a little more mathematical than most of these brainteasers.

The solution is: Each number has exactly three 1's in its binary (base TWO) representation:

7 = 111 base two
11 = 1011 base two

etc.

The next number then, is 26
26 = 11010
