For any who tried to do login or profile features in the last couple days and were unable to get in, my apologies for the inconvenience. We've been doing some system-wide tweaks that had some unexpected consequences to the member system. Those issues should be resolved now.

We've made some modifications to the Menu system at the top of the page, to improve its functionality (some have noticed that occasionally you might click a menu item and nothing happens - this should no longer be the case). Please let me know if you have any trouble accessing the menus.

We'll be doing some tweaks to the forum over the next couple days. I will do my best to ensure that any down time on the forum is minimal, so you can report bugs and comments. However, if the forum is down, you can email me (dtwitchell@virtu-software.com) or just wait awhile for the system to come back up.

Thanks again to everyone for all your help with the testing process!

One of the things you should notice about the forum is that the lightbulbs, which have been entirely non-functional since the beginning of the forum, now actually perform a function.

HOT : If the lightbulb icon is red, this means something has been posted in the last few hours. As the hours pass, the lightbulb will (hopefully) fade from red through shades of orange to yellow.

LIT: If the lightbulb is yellow, this means something has been posted in the last ten days. As the days pass, the lightbulb will (again, hopefully) fade from yellow to gray.

UNLIT: If the lightbulb is gray, nothing has been posted in this forum/thread for at least 10 days.

Update: You should now be able to edit your posts. Either click the pen icon next to your post, or simply click on the post itself. Once you've done so, the pen icon turns to a disk icon, allowing you to save your changes.

After you submit your changes, the new version of the post will appear, along with a text item stating that you edited the post, and when you did so.
