Top Letters: A VERY intense four minutes!

After my previous entry about Summer Activities With Educational Value, I thought I wouldn't be posting any more until the fall. However, I needed to make a quick addendum to the previous post. In that post I stated that the Quote Puzzler site has six games. That number is now up by one, with the addition of Top Letters.

This is a timed game in which players have four minutes in which to create words from a set of twenty letters. Each letter is assigned a point value (the same point value used in Scrabble and Word Builder. However, there is a slight catch...if you build a word in the top row, its value is multiplied by four. If you build a word in the second row, its value is multiplied by three. If you build a word in the third row, its value is multiplied by two, and if you build a word in the last row, it counts at face value.

The competition on this new game is fierce, and one member described the game as: a VERY intense four minutes!
