While Mr. Turtle is pedaling his bike down the road at 0.001 m/s, a grasshopper (which is traveling in the opposite direction at a speed of 1 m/s) crashes into his shell and sticks to it. If the bike's mass is 2 kg, and Mr. Turtle's mass is 8 kg, and the mass of the grasshopper is 0.0005 kg, how fast will Mr Turtle and the Grasshopper be traveling as they leave the collision site?
