You may choose to assign an activity to individual students, to entire groups, or to a combination. For example, if you would like to give an assignment to your entire Algebra class, plus one student from your Geometry class, you could choose the Algebra group, plus find that one individual student and assign it to them as well.  

To assign an activity to a group or individual student, find that group/student in the list and check the box next to the name.

Note: If you have students who are in multiple groups, assigning an activity to multiple groups will not assign it multiple times to the students who are in those groups.
