Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The Guest

Amelia Earhart-
If I could have you over I'd ask you a lot of questions! I'd finalize the story once and for all about how you died. Where and when. There are so many theories- what if none of them are true? Only you know and there's only one way to find out! So you feel like it, stop by some time. I make really good cookies! I'd also ask you what it was like flying back then and take you on a plain so you could see how they've changes. I'd tell you how I was born in Kansas too and I did a report on you in the 8th grade for Dia de Las Muertos in Spanish. I'd ask you about when you met Shirley Temple because she's also on my top 5 people I'd want to meet (Amelia Earhart, Alice Liddell, Shirley Temple, Lucille Ball, and Laura Ingalls Wilder), that are dead. I just read an article about how they found a campsite on the island you supposedly crashed on. But how would your campsite be in perfect shape?? I heard a story on NPR about a woman who'd been messing with her radio as a young teenager and thinks she heard your distress calls. I heard lots of different things but I want to know the truth!
Sincerely, Bookwormj
