Insomniac Insanity
Yet another restless eveIn the life of a hopeless insomniac
Eyes wide open
Toss and turns
Thoughts running wild
She seeks refuge
She seeks shelter
From the nightmares raining down
Deprived of sleep
Sweet slumber
Oh, how she longs for a sense of peace
The darkness haunts her mind
Penetrates the icy cold pits
Of her heart
She longs for home
She longs for light
As she talks to the moon tonight
