Advent Themes - Hope

Our hope can sometimes set our hearts afire
And still require us patiently to wait,
But, if it’s sure, will thoroughly inspire,
Because that hope is built on something great.

And in this Advent season when we fix
Our thoughts on hope and joy, and peace, and love,
It’s good to also prudently affix
Our gaze on Him who grants them from above.
