New Meaning
You leave me wanting moreof this togetherness
Laughing, joking, talking
Hoping for another
Chance to experience
Happiness lingering.
Surprised each time you call
Although I hoped 'twas you
When first I heard the ring.
Feigningly nonchalant,
I anticipate times
Spent with you, watching you
Is imagination
What makes me think that you
Are observing me too?
