Roses blush, petals unfurling in scent
amber,the nectar of full bodied wine
indigo ink drying dark on the page
nutmeg aroma of fresh baking cake
blues sounds , the rhythm of drum and guitar
orange, its juice running over my hand
woad earthiness of long ago dwellings
coral the beauty, past life undersea
ochre filled visions artistic palettes
lilacs sweet smell on a fine springtime morn
opal reflecting lights irredescence
ultramarine crashing waves to the shore
rouge on the cheeks of pantomime actors
silvery tinkles of cowbells in alps.
