Green fields, shaded woods and the rivers flow
country lanes, hay bales stacked in sunlit glow
blazers brown,straw hats, nuns in black and white
picking flowers and berries, a sweet delight

off to the city,as a nurse to train
hospital sights and smells always remain
new friends and holidays,flights on a plane
listening to songs,tears now and again

love between cultures, the pain and the fun
with memories rich ,to treasure each one
children ,now grown and making their own way
so live, love, make the most of every day
