Why Only Me?

You are like the sun,
Lighting my world that was previously engulfed in darkness,
Providing me with me the heat I never had.

You are like the wind,
No matter how much I tried to keep you away,
You kept coming,
'Persuading' me to try weird traditions.

You are like the moon,
Mysterious with ever changing faces,
Keeping so many things to yourself,
Never telling anyone what your really feeling inside.

You are like the ocean,
Powerful and fearful,
No one has tried to wade through your emotions and into your heart,
Well, some have,
But you just knocked them right back to shore.

If you did that to other people
Then,
Why didn't you do it to me?
What makes me so different?

Please, tell me.
