From within darkness you made me rise

A million screams I shout
In woods of darkness and fields of pain
Blood of vile be spilled
Eternity of endless shame

Roaming through lands of blight
When within echoes I hear them cry
I see their plight
Knew their vile sight

Consumed with never ending rage
Devoured from within
My my oath was my might
Inside me darkness which I could not face

Then she came
She came to show me love
Showed me what beauty is in life
With torch in shadow she brought me light

The beast she had stilled
Conquered it with her smile
Within her sweet embrace I heard the seasons call
In her eyes the star of Elendial froze
Leading me form all these woes

Now in front of my love
Standing alone yet again I ask
“Please, your beauty and grace
Without you I might fall
I need you by my side
Forever to see your face
Be my bride,
I humbly ask.
For you have ripped open my mask
Revealing all that I am,
Open and with shame”
