he was absolutely dreamy
he fluently quoted the romantic masters
his hair waved perfectly across his
sea green sheepish eye

i was so thoroughly lost in the
deep tones of his voice as he ordered for us
wait, did he just say anchovy
i must be imagining

he just chuckled and said it again...
you've got to be kidding
little dead fish
my stomache is feeling queezy

saved by the ringtone
his phone jingles and he excuses himself
i've got to get out of here
i cleverly spill my wineglass

i signal the water for the bill,
and a mop
