My Place

In a place that seems so far away,
dreams become my reality.
A rundown shack,
becomes a delightful cozy cottage.
A rigid creek,
transforms to a graceful flowing river.
The musty smelling hay field,
is now filled with emerald grass and purple poppies.
My life stands still,
as I gaze upon the picture in my mind.
