Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Maine Character on February 20, 2010
"On my other site, we do visual challenges: in which the admin posts a photo he took, and we follow up with a story for the photo. (something you may like to try) *cough, cough*

Anyways, this is what I came up with for a photo of a football player running for a goal."

Football Star

Seeing the crowd segrigated on each side of me in their team's colors.

I feel myself run, and this was finally when I get the ball.

I hear the croud cheer as I push back one guy in the face, for that would SURELY stop him. . .

It did, and soon, it got surprisingly easy to run to my goal.

Even team mates made motions at me from the other end of the field.

The croud got louder and louder, and I was nearly at the end.

With two more beautiful strides, I landed into the goal, sliding epicly.

Looking up, and throwing the ball to the reff, I cheer, and soon, my team becomes very silent, as well as the fans on my team.

Seeing the other team laugh, I realize that I went the wrong way.
