"I do apologize if my reference to the Holocaust offends any readers, but it was what i was feeling when i wrote this. I hope you enjoyed the poem regardless. "
War
Im so clouded in my thoughtsI cant see through the fog
When i thought i could handle it
I realized that i was wrong
Theres a struggle in all our minds
Greater than the Holocaust
But when the enemy is yourself you will never win
With a conflicting heart and mind theres no solution
So you ask, "How can there be peace within ourselves?"
With a mind thats so withered and a heart so cold
And ill tell you, "I wouldnt be the one to know."
