Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
It's 3 o'clock in the Morning, or Maybe it's 4Waking up in the middle of the night is nothing of a surprise to me. It's something I experience every night, usually two or three times, or a lot more if it's one of those nights.
Going back to sleep after a late night wake is never the same. Some days, depending on my previous nights, I'm so tired that I almost don't have any choice but to roll over and go out like a light.
Then there are those nights when sleep is never even in my ballpark. If it's after four in the morning, it's a lost cause. The second I see that clock, I know it's all over.
Sleeping is such a difficult feat that I find it annoying as all get out. I never have time for it, and once the time comes I would rather do something more exciting. Sleeping wastes your life away and we already hardly have enough time to do everything we want.
