"Grab Bag: autumn, dainty, someone, head, linoleum, noisy"

Autumn

Autumn leaves fall to the ground, as if they're falling in love with the ground, a wonderous tornado of oranges, reds, and yellows.
Her dainty hands, so delicate, so light, are being warmed within one of mine as we walk, crunching the leaves as we go.
She is my someone, my someone to love, to hold, and to care for, she is someone who is beautiful, and yet, so insecure.
She is someone I accept, and love for just who she is, because flaws and all, she is perfection.
She lays her head on my shoulder, clinging to my arm, as if when she lets go, I'll go away forever, but no, that is not the case.
I let her hold onto me, because I know I'll never leave her, for, she is everything I could ever want and more.
Soon, we'll be back, walking on the linoleum floors, of the busy hallways, passing people who are our freinds, and peers, yet we don't see anyone but each other amongst the vast mass of noisy people.
We are in love, and in the autumn wood, so quiet, and so accepting, we can walk, and listen to the crunch of the leaves, the twitters of the birds, and share the heavy feeling of the calm that surrounds us.
Soon, winter will come, and there will be more days such as these, but until then, our love will be enough.
