Turtle surgery
Turtle SurgeryI always struggled with free verse, but one time I was at my friend's house who is also a poet, and there was a TV show on about turtles being treated by on-ship surgeons and being released back into the water. I wrote a poem called turtle surgery and made a copy for my friend. he called later and left a message, "I think you are on to something with turtle surgery," but i have since lost the poem. i even wrote a poem called "turtle surgery" two which i have since lost. i cannot tell you how many of my creations have been sucked into the vortex of the universe. perhaps that is where they belong
