Vinnie, the Awful Viola

Vinnie, the awful viola
Had a very scratchy sound
And if you ever heard him,
You'd want to put him in the ground.
All of the other instr'ments
Used to laugh and call him names;
They never let poor Vinnie
Join in their orchestral games!
Then one dreadful concert eve,
Schoenburg came to say,
"Vinnie's tone gives me a rash -
It's perfect for atonal trash!"
Then how the others loved him,
As they shouted out with glee,
"Vinnie, the awful viola,
You're the best atonally!"
