Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Topazshell on February 26, 2017
"It happened in March. Usually, I think of March as the spring month. This time a new crocus didn't arrive. A bunch of snow arrived in our community. On the best day of the week, Friday, a blizzard started. I don't think it stopped until the next day. A blizzard in our area is odd. Usually, three inches is big time for us. This time there were medical emergencies. Deliveries of medications were made to private homes by news crews or policemen. People couldn't travel to the corner. Of course, it looked beautiful. Clean, white, untouched and snow still falling. I had to go out in it. I walked to the corner. I wanted to walk further. Too quickly the snow had passed my knees. I looked out and about. I could hardly see ahead of me. I knew chances of getting lost in the immediate neighborhood were great. So I turned around. I always wonder whether we will experience another blizzard here in this part of the United States. "
