One Sided Telephone Conversation: A Call From Mother

Hello
Oh hi mom and how are you feeling today?
Mother, a runny nose and two sneezes does not mean you have Swine Flu.
I know if I'd become a doctor like you wanted I'd know for sure, but trust me you don't have the flu.
How about Jenny, when she due?
Yes I glad you're finally having grandchildren, mother you can't expect me to have kids I not even married yet.
No yet, does not mean I close to marrying Joan. Mom we just started dating.
I am not rushing into marriage just so you can have grandkids.
You are not going to die soon, honestly you're healthier than I am.
No, mother I'm not sick I just meant that you're healthy.
You can not say Grandma died unexpectedly, she was ninety-six for gods sake.
Of course, I apologize for taking the lords name in vain and I'm not a psychic I'm just saying you'll live for a long time.
Yes, work has been fine, things have slowed down and they are laying off but I don't think it will effect my position.
Well, if it does, it does, I don't think my worrying about it will change the out come.
Look mom, I have to go there's someone on the other line, I'll call you back.
Yes mother it's called call waiting and you could get it on your line too if you want I'll tell you how later, I have to go now.
Yes I love you too now good bye mother.
